The Lost Cats of Saint Henri
Montreal is ready to celebrate.
Leo is ready to forget.
On the night of Game Seven, the city of Montreal explodes into a sea of hockey fever as the Canadiens are five minutes away from winning the Cup. But fifteen-year-old Leo wants nothing to do with it, using his headphones to drown out the gasps, cheers, and Olé-Olé-Olés. The team is a painful reminder of the grief he’s carried ever since his father died.
Then, with minutes left in the game, Leo spots a missing black cat and follows him into the ruins of an abandoned malting factory by the canal.
What he finds there is impossible. Supernatural. Extraterrestrial.
There’s a secret buried under the city, one that could change Montreal — and Leo — forever.
As time ticks away and the whole city holds its breath, Leo discovers that the lost cats of Saint-Henri might not be all that they seem. Before the final horn sounds, Leo will have to decide whether he’s ready to let go of the past.
